Custom Part Thickness

Custom Part 3D objects can now be created from any extrudes regardless of extrusion direction. Use lateral extrudes or even use "Custom Part 3D"'s push-pull mode to create Custom Part 3D objects sideways.

Custom Drawer Placement

The position of drawers placed in Cabinet 3D objects using the tool "Drawer 3D" (and thus according to the fitting supplier's specification) can now be customized afterwards.

Prevent millings from changing objects

Complex designs with overlapping parts containing millings may have caused millings to change to a different Custom Part 3D object. Now, you can group any Custom Part 3D object with its millings to prevent that.

Grid Drilling Improvements

Hole lines can now be placed with greater ease, using the same grid for both sides and partitions. Also, angled cabinets are supported much better now with holes appearing only where they make sense. Manual placement is still possible of course.

Part Layout Improvements

Part Layout 3D objects now have their own scale if placed on a sheet layer. If you place a Part Layout on a design layer, you can click to create it where you need it. We've thrown in an optional title, too.

Recess for Top/Bottom Shelf

Top / bottom shelves can now be recessed if the Cabinet 3D is designed with continuous sides (e.g. if the sides feature a top edging).

Option "Show Custom Fittings / Materials only"

If you added your own materials and fittings to interiorcad, you will appreciate the option to hide the default data set supplied with interiorcad to keep track of your data.

Publish /Subscribe Materials from Custom Folders

In addition to Vectorworks workgroup folders, any shared custom folders on your network drive can now be used to publish and subscribe materials.

Additional Options for Wooden Drawers

Cabinet 3D now allows for the placement of wooden drawers without the need for an additional front panel. On the flip side, wooden drawers without a front part can now be properly placed behind a Cabinet 3D front panel.

Top/Bottom recess for Partitions; Left/Right Recess for Fixed Shelves

Partitions can now be designed with an optional top or bottom recess, fixed shelves with an optiona left or right recess.

Layout Improvements "NC settings"

In order to make the dependency of the workshop strategy and dimensions output in cutting lists more transparent, we've updated the layout of the "NC settings" dialog.
