Class visibility

The more detailed classes automatically created for a Cabinet's Custom Parts with interiorcad 2017 are now visible by default in existing Saved Views and Viewports of the current document.

Rotated stretchers

Stretchers in Cabinets can now be rotated by 90°.

Project Sharing

interiorcad 2017 F3 does not yet support Vectorworks Project Sharing. The user is warned that interiorcad 2017 does not support Project Sharing. The warning is displayed while loading a working document and when using tools and menus of interiorcad in a Project Sharing document. Additionally one crash was fixed during commit.

Minor improvements / fixes

  • The menu command Assign Project Item can now be used to assign project items on groups of Custom Parts, Cabinets or Cabinets (Classic)
  • Drillings and connectors can again be placed on miters
  • While placing Hinges on angled Cabinets, the dialog for choosing the hinge now displays only valid hinges for the current situation or gives a warning instead if no such hinge can be found
  • Various fixes for angled Cabinets, where Custom Parts, e.g. shelves or back, with wrong dimensions were generated
  • Exports from interiorcad → Documents export all relevant data if multiple Cabinets, Drawers or Plinths are selected
  • The interiorcad installer for Windows now installs the templates Desk.sta and Worktable.sta, which are needed for working with the tutorials

Postponed

We had planned to allow the Cabinet tool to have the Resource Manager pulldown mode enabled. Unfortunately, this triggered a number of substantial issues which are more time consuming to address than anticipated. We have postponed the feature and the pulldown has been removed from HF3.

It was planned for improved display performance and reduced document size to change the behavior of fittings so that their actual drawing is imported as black symbol. The corresponding routings and record format data are to be part of a corresponding blue symbol. As this is a major change, the feature was postponed out of the HF3 release, to allow further testing before release.

VectorWOP

GannoMAT

interiorcad 2017 F3 supports exports to GannoMAT ProTec via ASCII Postprocessor.

Minor improvements / fixes

  • The folder exportstarter now contains both the existing exports and the main configuration data for NC and cutting list exports, which makes it easier to migrate settings between versions.
  • The radius compensation of contours is correctly exported, especially in case when the contour is exported from the other side, due to the automatic optimization.
  • Do not explicitly set the speed of routing (IMAWOP, NC-Hops, WoodFlash, woodWOP, Xilog)
  • Mill-through circular pockets can now be optionally routed as contour if they are larger than an optional diameter
