Complete Cutting Lists

To get to the cutting list dialog, choose «interiorcad > Documents > Cutting List...». The following dialog is displayed:

  1. Enter a name for the cutting list in the «Name» box. This name will then be used for all worksheets of this cutting list.
  2. Select a unit group here to make a cutting list including only parts belonging to that unit group.
  3. Select an output format here.
  4. Check or uncheck «Overwrite worksheets» to either overwrite existing worksheets or create new ones from scratch.
  5. Check «Show worksheets» to display worksheets immediately after costing is finished.
  6. The «Sort by:» pull-down menu allows you to sort worksheets according to different criteria.

You should always check this box, especially if multiple employees are working with interiorcad. It makes sure you always work with the most current data.

Click «OK» to display the cutting list on a new worksheet:

Filtered Cutting Lists

In the same way, you can create filtered cutting lists only containing specific data, for example, edges only or coatings only. These can be used for order processing as well as pre-production planning. This can be very helpful, especially if work in your company is based on division of labor.

Simply select the desired entry from «interiorcad > Documents»:
